Job Summary & Responsibilities:

QA Analyst

 

Optimal Payments is currently seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join its team. The ideal candidate will have good website-focused technical skills, be highly motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a member of a cross-functional Agile development team
  • Review and provide input into Business Requirements Documents
  • Create/Update/Review/Execute manual test cases
  • Create automated tests using our automation tools
  • Track and report on test results
  • Participate in defect management process
  • Attend daily scrums, project meetings, and department meetings as required
Desired Skills:

Core technical skills:

  • Basic understanding of QA processes and principles
  • Basic understanding of and experience with black box testing
  • Experience testing web applications
  • Experience creating/updating/reviewing/executing manual tests
  • A desire to learn test automation
  • Good ability to work with a team
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, methodologies, QA processes and business rules

 

Education and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ experience in software Quality Assurance
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
